Though most household moved to using a washing machine about
few years back, people do not want to tryout with dishwasher machine in Pakistan just yet. This blog effort to bust
the traditions associated with using a dishwasher in the Pakistani household
and brings to light the new life with shiny clean, hygienically washed
utensils.
Popular Sagas about Dishwashers
#1 Saga - They are not appropriate to clean utensils used
in the Pakistani style of cooking. The fact is dishwashers can do oily and
soiled dishes with easiness as it used hot water to clean.
#2 Saga -
They use too much electricity. The fact is the energy consumption by a
dishwasher per wash cycle is projected at approximately 1200-1500 Wh. Compare
this with an air conditioner which uses between 1000W to 4000W of energy. The
trick to dropping its energy consumption is to load the washer for a
“economical mode” – a longer duration program which promises to consume up to
40% less energy.
#3 Saga – They use too much water. The
fact is manually washing utensils by hand can use up to 120 liters of water.
This is because the tap is generally left open while washing utensils. A dishwasher
uses a fraction of this water. A single wash cycle can use about 25 liters of
water.
#4 Saga - Dishwashers cannot do
kadhais. The fact is dishwasher is well-appointed to clean frying pans,
kadhais, chai utensils and more. Its only requirement is to remove musty and
sticky food onto utensils.
#5 Saga - It
would double the effort as we have to pre rinse with water and then load the
machine. The fact is dishwashers today come with a pre wash option. One does
not need to pre-rinse to load the machine. Again, only food should be scraped
off and then loaded.
Now that we have the Sagas out of the way let’s look what
Al-Fatah electronics have to offer in dishwashers with the best dishwasher prices!
